🐝Foreign Language Spelling Bee Success🐝

On Wednesday, we took 3 Year 7 students to the Foreign Language Spelling Bee East Midlands Regional Final at The University of Nottingham. One of our amazing students has now made it through to the National Finals in July🥇👏 #TeamHeanor

Tonight at our MFL club, students had a fabulous time following a recipe for Spanish patatas bravas! 🥔🍅🇪🇸

This gave the students a great opportunity to taste and make new foods. They also studied the recipies in English, Spanish and French!

For European Day of Languages, MFL held a Great MFL Bake Off competition! The entries were magnificent, making it a hard decision for Mr Jones to pick a winner. After much deliberating, Travis' cake of Europe was chosen as the winner. Congratulations!🏆

Today students delivered another 3 trollies of donated food to @Salcare Heanor. They helped in the warehouse and prepared bundles of food for Friday's foodbank collections. Donations still gratefully received in school until Monday when we will make our last food aid gift. #unity
