Random tidbit about the Adoption Center: we have laser pointers and keep them locked in a cabinet. Why? Sometimes a pet (usually the kittens) get too deep into petspace, and decide to play with the laser pointers without supervision. This usually ends up with the laser pointers-

-but occasionally the night crew mentions to the head of staff that they saw a flick of a laser pointer, somewhere in the kitten wing during the night. It's too quick to pinpoint where it's from, and usually too hard to track down. The head of staff does know about the laser-
