Since it's launch, nearly 100,000 letters have been sent electronically using ePR to GP's instead of posting paper copies. Not only has this tool saved time and money - but also the equivalent of 11 trees worth of paper! @HHFTnhs
Had a great meeting with Urology last week to discuss their pilot for My Medical Records. See below for some of the benefits their patients can expect from this. @HHFTN@mymedrec
Nice to see coverage in the Mail today of the Prostate Cancer work co-developed by ourselves, @ProstateUK@movemberUK@MovemberAUS and University of Southampton and many brilliant Urology/Oncology teams. Now live in ten hospitals across the UK.

How does ePR letters benefit patient care vs paper letters? An HHFT consultant spent 45 seconds generating a letter to a GP, advising medication to be prescribed at 3.40pm. By 6pm that evening, the GP had received the electronic note, and prescribed the medication. @HHFTnhs
We have our first patients signed up for My Medical Record @mymedrec, and Phil Thwaites, our MMR Programme Manager, will be in Ophthalmology on Wednesday 15th at RHCH helping to sign more patients ups. If you need more information on My Medical Records then email [email protected]
So far, we have gained feedback from over 250 Clinicians with regards to what information they would like to see on the new eWhiteboards. The feedback is invaluable so please keep an eye open for our emails/tweets advertising when the next screen is available for review.@HHFTnhs
