We are excited to announce that this year, 30 lucky Heartlands students will be chosen to shadow the @jhalakprize's Children's and YA award!

With a longlist this amazing, we didn't want to miss out!

Never say we don't do things in style! Ms Roberts and our EAL Student Librarian met in the library today to unveil our 'Community Languages' section. Students can borrow books in Arabic, Bulgarian, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Albanian and Turkish - more coming soon!

What an amazing start to #WorldBookDay We have had so many students queuing to borrow mystery books before Lesson 1 even started that we had to ask some to come back later!
