Somalia’s humanitarian crisis continues to escalate, with Buurhakaba District facing rapidly worsening conditions driven by drought, displacement, food insecurity, and limited humanitarian access.
@gredosom warns that without urgent humanitarian scale-up, vulnerable communities, especially children and women in hard-to-reach rural areas face increasing risks of malnutrition, disease outbreaks, and displacement.

@gredosom recently facilitated a Roll-out Training for 65 Coaches and Community-Based Trainers (CBTs) from Afgoye and Deynile districts. The training enhanced participants’ skills in coaching, facilitation, case management, and teamwork, equipping them to better guide and support their communities.

Conducted in partnership with @SaveChildrenSO under the #Adkeysi_Consortium, and made possible through the generous support of the @US2SOMALIA , this initiative strengthened the capacity of frontline trainers to deliver more effective assistance and create lasting impact.

GREDO has successfully wrapped up a 3-day IMCI training for 36 health and nutrition staff in Baidoa and Marko under the @StartNetwork 's Solidarity Fund.

The training boosted capacity in managing childhood illnesses, caregiver counseling, referral systems, and integrated service delivery, strengthening frontline response to pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, and malnutrition.💪
