The animations work in Campaign Evolved cutscenes feel like fan-work. I have seen SFM animations that look less stiff.

Like im fairly open minded and pleasantly surprised with the way it plays and looks. But the best writing is consistently the things copied 1-1 from the original.

It's definitely not as big of a slam dunk as the Dead Space 1 remake.

I enjoy it, but it's hard to justify price.

Im still trying to mostly stay away from discourse about Halo: Campaign Evolved since I haven't finished it yet and im excited to see what's changed in later levels. But I have to say it does feel like it has great environment artists and a horrible cutscene and VA director.
