🕯️ Maksym Ustymenko downed seven targets before his jet was hit. He steered it away from a populated area but couldn’t eject.
He leaves behind a wife and 4-year-old son.
Last night, during a massive enemy air attack, First Class Pilot Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Ustymenko, born in 1993, was killed in action flying an F-16.
Maksym did everything he could to steer the aircraft away from a populated area. He didn’t have time to eject…
Our deepest condolences to Maksym’s family.
✈️ Eternal flight, brother. You did everything you could…
My nurse and I are constantly preparing medical packages to be delivered to our wounded soldiers via drone. I never imagined modern day combat medicine would look like this, but here we are.
5000 km traveled, 4 trucks of equipment for #Ukrainian defenders, (with the collaboration of the good volunteers from Sweden,) lots of sketchy #Donbas roads, reunions with old friends, and making of new friends.
All around a successful aid mission for #Traczer team.

If necessity is the mother of invention, then innovation and adaptability are the elements required to keep that invention relevant on the modern battlefield.
One minute you're getting your leg amputated from wounds received on the front line, and the next you are preparing the world for the new and improved "sexy leg model 2025."
Humor may not heal a wound but it sure helps the heart.

My dear friend Chris, known to many as Swampy, 💔🇬🇧
It’s taken me some time to come to process the tragic news, I still struggle to truly accept it. Not you… You were a true legend in the NGO community.
We’d been working together since July 2022. Just a few weeks ago, we missed our last chance to meet in Kyiv—both of us completely overwhelmed with work.
This is the most painful loss I’ve experienced since the start of the war. You were not only a legend, but also a mentor and protector—always shielding us from the horrors of the minefields.
Through your incredible organisation, Prevail, you and your team have saved thousands of civilian lives—clearing mines, educating communities, and teaching people how to stay safe in the most dangerous conditions. Your work was tireless, brave, and deeply human.
Rest in peace, Chris. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family, especially to your wonderful wife and baby.
This war is a horrific humanitarian disaster that keeps taking the very best from us 💔
@Cappyarmy Always remember the folks who insisted that the thousands of Russian troops attacking Ukraine in 2022 simply did not exist and it was all “not really happening.” 🫠
