@HoustonISD celebrates all of our #AAPI students and teachers for #AAPIHeritageMonth.

Between 2018 and 2023, despite a decrease in overall students and teachers, there has been a slight increase in the proportion of AAPI students and teachers in HISD.

Established in 1923, @HoustonISD has continuously expanded to serve the Houston community and its surrounding areas. By the end of the 1920’s, there were 87 campuses. Today, the district is made up of 275 campuses, including 7 district contract schools.
