EEC Teams Shine at SAUVC 2025! 🤖🌊 Our teams, Manta Ray and Searious Business, excelled at the Singapore Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Challenge! Manta Ray won the Innovation Award and placed 5th, while Searious Business was 4th. Proud of our commitment to innovation! 💪🌟

In the final demo of EIE3360 of AIIE programme, students developed an autonomous AI robot car that only requires a camera to play the game, without human intervention or additional sensors. Remarkably, this robot car can perform all the detecting and scoring actions! 🥅⚽

Last week, we welcomed the Principal and students from Queen's College Old Boys' Association Secondary School to explore the Faculty of Engineering. They visited our Electric Vehicle Laboratory and the Engineering Entrepreneurship Club, experiencing the joy of learning at EEE. ✨

PolyU recently showcased Prof. Haw-yaw TAM & his team have developed high-sensitivity optical fibre sensor for cochlear implants, aimed at enhancing surgical precision. This patented technology automates electrode adjustments to reduce cochlea damage and improve patient outcomes.

The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions is a prestigious annual event showcasing global innovations. This year, over 1,000 projects from nearly 40 countries were displayed. EEE proudly won 5 awards🏆, making us the department with the most Gold awards at PolyU! 🥳

We recently held the 4th of the Teach Your Mates workshop, where Yavuz Selim Baser shared insights into Turkey's rich history, culture, architecture, and cuisine 🍰. Participants learned about tin craftsmanship and picked up a few Turkish words, like "Günaydın" (Good morning) 😎.
