Microsoft is working to restore Teams and is providing updates as their work is completed.
We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime and hope to receive notice of resolution shortly.
HKSIT is aware of issues affecting Microsoft Teams today, including:
- Users who reboot their computers may not be able to log into Teams.
- Users logging in or unlocking their devices after some time may see missing messages.
- Files and messages slow or fail to send/receive.
UPDATE: HUIT has resolved the issue impacting logins to all features of the my.Harvard applications and will continue to monitor to ensure service stability.
FINAL UPDATE: We have received confirmation that the M365 email delivery issues / erroneous warning messages have been resolved, and email services are fully operational.
Please reach out with any outstanding questions or concerns.
INCIDENT ALERT: An issue with Harvardโs spam filter is affecting a subset of Microsoft Office365 email users.
Impacted users will either experience warning messages on emails they receive, issues sending messages, or both.
HUIT is now shifting towards resolving the warning message that appears on received emails for a different portion of the population. They expect this work to run into the early evening.
We hope to see you there! If you're not able to join and/or you have urgent questions or concerns about file management, please email [email protected].

As long as there are passwords, we will need password managers.
Harvard's recommended tool for the job is 1Password! And on October 3, our team is hosting 2 trainings to get the @Kennedy_School community up and running, storing, creating, and managing logins in 1Password.

This weekend, Harvard is ending support for LastPass.
What does this mean for @Kennedy_School?
On Saturday, any HKS members using a LastPass Personal Premium account provided by Harvard will see that account downgrade to Free/Basic โ unless they take steps to pay for premium.
Please email [email protected] if you have any questions about this.
If you'd like to migrate your passwords from LastPass to 1Password, Harvard's recommended password manager, please follow the instructions here: https://t.co/y4Iq6u8Dyq
