We often talk about investing in the future as though it’s something far away.
It isn’t.
It looks like a room full of young women choosing to spend their time learning instead of settling. It looks like curiosity, courage, and a willingness to grow.
We welcomed the EveryGirl 3.0 cohort as they began their immersion journey.
Every cohort reminds me why we started this in the first place. Programmes like EveryGirl aren’t just about mentorship. They’re about expanding what’s possible. Because when people are exposed to new ideas, new environments, and new perspectives, they begin to see themselves differently. And that changes everything.
This is why we do what we do at @kshafrica.
I’m excited to see where this journey takes them.

The microphones don’t appear because everything is perfect.
They appear because people want answers. And that’s exactly how it should be.
Every question is a chance to explain the thinking behind the decisions, to own what needs improving, and to stay accountable to the people we serve.
Leadership isn’t avoiding difficult conversations. It’s walking into them, staying in the room, and answering the questions that matter, even when they’re uncomfortable.
I’ve learned that scrutiny isn’t something to fear. If anything, it reminds you that people are paying attention. It reminds you that the work matters.
The goal isn’t to escape tough questions.
The goal is to keep doing work that deserves honest conversations.
