@Anthony1ZebraL1@TheJeffPutnam The surveillance state has been growing. Glock isn't the beginning, but if flock is the trigger that gets people to push back, that's great.
This quisling supports Flock cameras, and as support for his support, points to all the other things that track us.
Those other things aren't justification for Flock, they're other things that we should also be upset about and moving to get control of.
Guess what happens when you scan your fingerprint to sign in on your phone/computer? How about when you "think" u are deleting something private or not & its actually stored in a database after u delete it? Friends & haters, in todays AI world, your info will never be 100% safe.
@TheRealGoblinK2@japan_nobunaga Well put.
โThe American people, North and South, went into the war as citizens of their respective states, they came out as subjects of the Federal Government, and what they thus lost they have never got back.โ
@japan_nobunaga Town used to be thirty minutes from my house. It's closer to forty now, because the area between has grown up and there's more traffic.
Same distance, but it's not the same.
@JulieCFrost@BradRTorgersen I've noticed a narcissistic streak in several of the transTrenders that I know.
On the other hand, I have a couple (significantly older) trans friends who really just want to be left alone and live their lives. Quite a generational difference.
@Jringo1508@Mr_Husky1 One of the CCC parks near me has an unfinished stone wall at the entrance with blocks scattered around it. story goes that when word of Pearl Harbor came in, many of the men dropped their tools and went to join up.
@BradRTorgersen@JulieCFrost Another friend of mine's daughter has decided to schedule her surgical mutilation right when my friend had their annual vacation planned. After the non-refundable deposit went through. 'And I need you there with me!!'
The whole thing is just so sad.
@MW4Liberty If any normal person did to a single person what Flock does to everyone, it would justifiably be called criminal stalking and you could ask for a cease and desist to stop them.
@CynicalPublius This exactly.
The number of (supposedly) current and former military folks here on X defending the suspension in this case is maddening.
@yankee_chef@four4thefire@ingelramdecoucy Huh. I fly in and out of there regularly, but I'm always driving myself. I can see that picking someone up could be challenging.
@AmphibDeckape@four4thefire@ingelramdecoucy Leisure travel is great by rail, if you have plenty of time and money. There's no better way to see the country than from the window of a private room.
