You can dress a woman with a trash bag and keep her away from leisure activities and she is still likely to fall victim to men. The issue has never been and will never be the woman.

So focus on an actual solution that doesn’t bring them back to oppression.

Nothing infuriates me more when people try to question a woman’s actions leading up to an assault.

Not only is it victim blaming, it is also an attempt to oppress women and take away the little progress we have made in society. You don’t actually care that someone has been—

Their clothes doesn’t matter. Where they are doesn’t matter. Who they are with doesn’t matter and what they drink doesn’t matter.

It happens anyways. So to try and put the blame on the victim or to try and suggest we should keep them oppressed for ”safety” reasons, is foolish.
