The cross is the most offensive idea in Islam.
It’s also the most true.
As a Muslim, nothing disgusted me more than the thought of God stripped, mocked, and nailed to wood like a criminal. An insult to His majesty.
Here’s what flipped it for me.
The offense IS the glory.
A God too proud to stoop could never reach me where I was — at the bottom, in the mess, in the shame.
It was His willingness to go that low that proved how high His love actually was.
“He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross. Therefore God exalted Him.” Philippians 2:8-9.
It revealed His amazing glory.
The lower He stooped, the greater He proved to be.
The most offensive idea I ever encountered turned out to be the truest thing I’ve ever known. Praise Jesus our Lord.
Millions of people were watching one of the biggest football matches on earth.
But amid the noise, the pressure, and the global spotlight, Salvadoran FIFA referee Iván Barton, who officiated today's Spain–France World Cup semifinal, was seen carrying a referee's whistle adorned with a crucifix.
A powerful reminder that even on the world's biggest stage, some people are not afraid to let their faith be seen.
Christ above all.
Jesus never said “I am God, worship me” in those exact words.
This was my go-to challenge as a Muslim.
“Show me one verse where He says the words: I am God, worship me.”
He did something better. He acted like God in front of people who’d kill Him for it — and let them draw the conclusion.
“Show me one verse where He says the words!” I demanded. As if a con man announcing “I’m God” would settle anything anyway. Anyone can say words. Watch what He DID.
He forgave sins — not against Himself, against GOD — and the scholars gasped:
“Who can forgive sins but God alone?” Mark 2:7. He didn’t correct them. He healed a man to prove He had the right.
He took the divine name — the one so holy Jews wouldn’t speak it — and wore it:
“before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58.
They picked up rocks to kill Him on the spot. They knew EXACTLY what He claimed.
He received worship — from lepers, from disciples, from Thomas crying “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28) — and every time, He kept it. Real prophets refuse worship (Acts 10:26). He never once did.
You wanted a sentence. He gave you a LIFE — forgiving, I AM-ing, accepting worship, and dying for the claim.
He didn’t need to say the words…
He proved it with authority no liar could fake and no prophet ever DARED.
Then He rose from the dead to sign it.
When I was Muslim, I read the golden calf story in Surah 20 and never blinked.
The Quran says the man who led Israel into making the golden calf was “as-Samiri.” The Samaritan.
At Mount Sinai. Around 1400 BC.
Here’s the problem: Samaritans did not exist yet. Not for another 700 years.
The Samaritans emerged after the Assyrians conquered northern Israel in 722 BC and foreign settlers mixed into the region of Samaria — a city that itself wasn’t built until 1 Kings 16, centuries after Moses.
You cannot have a Samaritan at Sinai for the same reason you cannot have an American at the fall of Rome.
So how did a Samaritan end up in the Exodus?
By the 7th century AD, Jews and Samaritans had despised each other for centuries.
Jewish polemic blamed Samaritans for idolatry — one later tradition even ties a Samaritan to calf worship.
If you’re composing a story and you need a villain the local Jewish audience will instantly hate, “the Samaritan did it” writes itself.
That’s not the fingerprint of God. That’s the fingerprint of a 7th-century neighborhood feud leaking into “eternal scripture.”
And here’s the JESUS FLIP. Buckle in.
Jesus knew exactly what Samaritans were — hated, half-breed, heretics — and He made one the HERO of His most famous parable.
Then in John 4, He crossed into Samaria on purpose to offer living water to a Samaritan woman with five husbands.
The Quran wrote the Samaritan in as the villain.
Jesus wrote the Samaritan in as the neighbor and friend.
Tell me which one sounds like God.
Praise the Lord Jesus.
When I was Muslim, Eid al-Adha was my favorite holiday.
Every year: the sacrifice. A lamb or goat slaughtered to commemorate the day Allah ransomed Abraham’s son with a substitute.
And the Quran’s own words haunted me for years after I left.
Surah 37:107 goes “And We ransomed him with a GREAT sacrifice.”
Great? An animal caught in a bush is “great”? Rams are not rare. There is nothing great about a ram… unless the ram is pointing at something.
Go back to the original account. Genesis 22. Isaac asks his father, “where is the lamb?” And Abraham answers with one of the most loaded sentences in the Bible:
“God will provide FOR HIMSELF the lamb.”
Not “God will provide A lamb for us.” God will provide HIMSELF the lamb.
And it happens on a mountain in “the region of Moriah,” the exact region where the Temple would later stand (2 Chronicles 3:1), walking distance from a hill called Calvary.
Stay with me now…
Abraham even names the place “The LORD Will Provide,” and Genesis adds: “on the mountain of the LORD it WILL BE provided.”
Future tense. The story itself says the real provision hadn’t happened yet.
Two thousand years later, John the Baptist sees a man walking toward him and says the sentence Isaac’s question had been waiting for:
“BEHOLD, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”
There’s the great sacrifice.
Islam slaughters an animal every year and calls the substitute “great” without ever asking what it was a substitute FOR.
The ritual survived. The meaning didn’t.
I found the Lamb.
PRAISE THE LORD, I’M FREE

900 petani Jember dikasih tau:
"kasih KTP, KK, akta nikah, buat urus bansos."
Dikasih Rp200-250 ribu sebagai "terima kasih."
Yang kejadian: identitas mereka dipakai buat ngajuin KUR Mikro ATAS NAMA MEREKA.
Begitu cair, buku tabungan dan ATM langsung diambil alih si "petugas".
PIN-nya diseragamin semua biar gampang dikuras bareng-bareng.
Petani-petani ini sekarang tercatat py utang KUR ke bank, padahal duitnya enggak pernah mereka pegang sepeser pun.
Yang bikin ini bukan penipu jalanan biasa: ini melibatkan Pemimpin Cabang BNI Jember sendiri (inisial MFH), yang tau kreditnya bodong, tau syaratnya enggak kepenuhi, tapi tetep merintahkan "proses aja" , biar performa kredit cabangnya keliatan sehat di mata kantor pusat.
Bank yang katanya (kutip taglinenya sendiri) "melayani negeri", pucuk cabangnya malah nyulap 900 identitas rakyat kecil jadi alat nutupin data kredit macet biar dianggap berprestasi.
Kerugian negara: Rp41,4 miliar (audit BPKP).
Tersangka sekarang 4 orang.
Islam comes from one man, who’s dead, no witnesses. Buddhism comes from one man, who’s dead, no witness’s.
Christianity comes from one man , Jesus, hundreds of witnesses, thousand of historical accounts, and a death and then a resurrection, hundreds of witness’s. Jesus Christ lives on. The only way to heaven.
One of the greatest privileges of following Jesus is knowing Him personally.
God doesn't just want your obedience. He wants intimacy. He delights in revealing His heart to those who walk closely with Him.
When we begin to compromise, our hearts become dull to His voice. It's not that God has stopped speaking. It's that we've stopped listening.
The Christian life was never meant to be boring. There is nothing more exciting than walking with Jesus and hearing Him reveal the secrets of His Kingdom.
In this episode, Arden and I talk about how wholehearted devotion keeps our relationship with Christ vibrant and alive.

🚨 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MOMENT! 😍🇦🇷🇨🇻
After the match, the entire Cape Verde squad queued up to take a photo with Lionel Messi while he was giving a post-match interview.
🎙️ Matías Palacios (journalist): "Look at them... the players who made you suffer are now waiting to take photos with you and ask for your autograph."
🇦🇷 Lionel Messi: "They asked me for my shirt too... but on the pitch they kept kicking me!" 😂
🚨Lionel Messi after the Cape Verde game:
“Before this World Cup, I’d never even heard of Vozinha. After the match, I went over to congratulate him because he made some incredible saves and had a fantastic game. He asked if we could swap shirts in the dressing room, and of course I was happy to do it.
When we met in there, that’s when I realized how much I meant to him. I didn’t know I was one of his idols until he told me himself. Moments like that remind you how special football is. You meet people from different parts of the world, and through this sport you create memories that stay with you forever.”
🚨 We need to talk about this incredible man. Pedro Leitão Brito, the Cape Verde manager.
Before the match, he went over to Lionel Scaloni to give him a Cape Verde pennant, featuring a map of the archipelago’s 10 islands, and explained where they are located.
The Cape Verde boss wanted to make sure Scaloni would never forget where Cape Verde is. And he succeeded — not only with that gift, but because his team produced a historic performance on the pitch.
Scaloni's reaction said it all: A huge embrace of respect.
For context, Cape Verde is the African country closest to South America.
Little brothers. 💙
🚨🇨🇻 Nobody Will Ever Call Cape Verde a Small Team Again” — Rio Ferdinand
“I’ve watched football for a long time, and I’ve learned something tonight.
We spend too much time talking about big countries and famous names. Football doesn’t care about any of that.
Cape Verde arrived at this tournament for the very first time in their history. Most people expected them to disappear quietly. Instead, they nearly produced one of the biggest upsets the World Cup has ever seen.
Their organisation was outstanding. Their defenders won tackles they had no right to win. Their goalkeeper kept making saves that gave his teammates belief. The midfield kept running even deep into extra time. Their substitutes didn’t look nervous—they looked hungry.
Even after conceding, they kept responding. That’s mentality. That’s character.
Argentina eventually found the winning goal because that’s what champions do, but don’t let the final score fool you. They had to earn every single minute of this victory.
Cape Verde have earned something far bigger than sympathy tonight. They’ve earned global respect.”
It's time we football fans, demand resignation of the FIFA President for being incompetent for the wrongful decisions made in favour of Argentina! #ResignInfantino
Cape Verde won our hearts but they were wrongfully eliminated due to dodgy refree decisions.
This is all over World Cup 2022, we didn't do anything back then but now we must demand President's resignation!
Join the movement! #ResignInfantino
