My last trip to Bangkok I was there during a national holiday. No alcohol and all party areas were shutdown. It gave me great respect for the country that it could put principles above money.

In case you didn’t know, today is a public holiday in #Thailand and people don’t have to go to work. Everyone can #StayAtHome. The holiday is Chakri Day (#วันจักรี) which commemorates the coronation of Rama I & all the kings in the Chakri dynasty #Thailand
