I wanted to share that I no longer work in the prison service. I retired a little while ago after a very long & enjoyable career.
I am now committed to helping individuals & organisations to lead differently, in whichever environment they work in.

Whoops… 😂 thank you to all the amazing staff at HMP Dartmoor it was a real pleasure to meet you all & honoured to give you your much deserved medals 🏅
Please recognise and if possible sponsor David in his attempt to paddle board some of our amazing lakes. This is a tremendous challenge taken on by someone who is committed to improving CJ policies and helping others. Thank you so much. https://t.co/jnjJ9pRLWn
Another extraordinary thing about Shirley Williams. As prisons minister, in 1966, she wanted to find out what life was really like for women inside: so she persuaded the authorities to lock her up in Holloway on a pretended prostitution charge. Who would do that now?
31 years ago as a new prison officer I recall a young lad called Phillip Knight taking his own life. This has remained with me throughout my career. The listener scheme was then born. Please donate https://t.co/S5CJTiDWaj
@HMPHaverigg Wishing you all the best Tony, you are one of the best, and I’m grateful to have been part of your team in previous prisons. A decent, hard working and committed Governor who has made impacts throughout his career. Here’s wishing you a long and relaxing retirement my friend
What a fantastic day at Portland! The senior leadership team had the privilege to serve 106 members of staff their lunch today. What a great turn out from all our different departments! Thank you for everything you continue to do every day to keep everyone safe.
Thank you for the 80+ staff who took part in our #TimeToTalk event yesterday. It was great to share some goodies with everyone who is working so hard and to remind people of the value of checking in with each other and the support services we have available.
This time 2 years ago I was getting prepared to walk out those prison gates in 2 days time - My life has changed so much (for the better) and this journey has been unreal, long may it continue 💪🏻🙃✌🏻🥳⚽️
New book out edited by Jenny Schlosser about female scholars doing research in prisons, about the obstacles we face, why we chose this field, and about the women who have inspired us. Includes chapters by me, @AlisonLiebling @drkate_gooch @KerametR and many others...!
