It's the hardest course in the Navy - pass and you've got a 95% chance of commanding your own submarine! It's 'Perisher'!

PERISHER (pear-ish-er) -- 'the colloquial name given to the Submarine Comnand Course'. A person who passes is known as "Perisher Qualified".

We've done it! HMS Triumph has successfully completed Operational Sea Training and is ready and keen to fully rejoin the Royal Navy's Fleet.

Back at buoy in Devonport after a particularly successful Submarine Tactical Exercise vs HMS TORBAY. Scoreline 14 - 6 to us!

Have just departed buoy at Plymouth - six days of FOST Ops Phase to go. Lots of learning points so far but progress is steady.

Successful operational planning meeting completed today and some good prep work achieved - bring on the next few weeks of FOST assessment!

Currently alongside in Devonport conducting some repairs on emergent defects - back at sea for operational work up with FOST soon
