The CDC recommends ways of preventing ACEs by:
Teaching children social-emotional and healthy relationship skills
Connecting youth to caring adults and activities
Having interventions to reduce long-term harm that occurs due to ACEs

We encourage clear communication between schools and families through tools and resources needed to handle difficult conversations such as a student’s mental or behavioral health. We like to think of it as putting puzzle pieces together to ensure the best care for each child.
Our program has not only decreased schools’ overall behavior tendencies, internalized and externalized student risk, but has also decreased schools’ violence by 63%!

April is #NationalChildAbusePrevention month. As a society, we can help end child abuse and neglect by working at local shelters and understanding the warning signs of abuse and neglect, and even becoming more educated on what child abuse and neglect are, you can help stop it.
Today and every day, we take the time to support transgender youth and their mental well-being. With nearly 2% of high school students identifying as transgender, and 27% of them feeling unsafe at school, it is important to support and recognize the issues that they deal with.
Sometimes we forget to tell the children in our lives how important they are to us. Take an extra second today and let someone know how much they mean to you, or share this post with them! Here’s to spreading kindness.
