The Celtic cross is one of the strongest symbols of Anglican heritage 🏴
The great stone crosses are far older than Anglicanism, but that is exactly why they matter. Anglicanism is rooted in the ancient Christian history of these islands and claims that inheritance directly.
The Church of England did not see itself as inventing a new Church from scratch at the Reformation. It claimed continuity with the ancient Church in England, the Christianity of Aidan, Cuthbert, Bede and the great monasteries and churches of the early English world.
That is why the Celtic cross fits Anglicanism so naturally. During the 19th-century Gothic and Celtic revivals it became especially prominent again, linking the Anglican Church with the older Christian inheritance of Britain.
Roman Catholicism is universal and centred on communion with Rome. Anglicanism, by contrast, has a specifically English and British historical root.
So the Celtic cross is more than decoration. It is a reminder that Christianity was planted deeply in these islands centuries before the Reformation, and that Anglicanism claims that ancient inheritance as its own 🏴
If 70 people in Palestine were beheaded, quite rightly, you’d have heard about it.
If 70 people at Pride were murdered, quite rightly, you’d have heard about it.
70 Christians were beheaded in Congo recently. Did you hear about it?
Christians are being slaughtered for their faith.
In Nigeria, 30 Christians were murdered as they prepared for church services, and a pastor and father of five was abducted and killed.
We are taking the persecution of Nigeria’s Christians directly to the U.N. Human Rights Council.

This is not a social media myth or a political game
This is their reality.💔

No translation is needed to feel the pain in her cries.
Imagine watching your family being buried for their faith the same faith your parents taught you and that shaped your life.
Imagine seeing your sons dig a hole and bury your husband in it, all because of the faith you hold dear and passed on to your children.

Every preacher should be screaming this from the rooftops!
"Christians should stand up and get involved in politics. If you don't, Muslims will!
Why are we asking for this nation to change if we can't get up off our tails and go to the voting booth and vote according to the values that are in that Bible?
If you don't decide to show up and vote, don't be upset when everything goes awry 10 to 15 years from now and there's a mosque on every corner and everybody calling out to Allah and things start changing to Sharia law!"
The Palestine 🇵🇸 propaganda nonsense has duped so many people into believing pure lies, and created the largest wave of Anti-Semitism the world has ever seen.
The devil is behind it, this much is for sure!
If you stand for truth then you stand with the Jewish people on this.
So glad to see the amazing Masara Kim on X. He is an amazing journalist, living in the frontline of the christian genocide in Nigeria. Masara has a brilliant mind, he is a man of true integrity & courage. Folo him, share his work. Many of his family and friends are already dead. He told me years ago when I asked about his safety, that he was “already overdue for death”. But he continues to risk his life because he wants it to mean something. His words are burned into my memory: “At least when I die people will know the truth. These children that are killed, these babies who are murdered, what did they do?”
