2K really graded my homeboy out because he missed a few open shots meanwhile he had 7 assists and was actually playing team ball. Then y’all had the nerve to say he “quit” and give him a warning how the fuck you quit a game YOU kicked him out of?@Beluba@Ronnie2K fix this shit
Defenders recover wayy too fast when they’re either trailing or out of the play. At times i’ll be on a Fast break and don’t even wanna put the ball up cause I feel like the Defender Behind me got Titanium Legs and gonna send my shit to Japan. Idk if it’s a motion style thing but if I beat someone especially a center he should not be able to recover‼️‼️
There is an ideal release point in every jump shot (the visual cue), if you release the button at that point you will ALWAYS make the shot. That point is fixed and does not shift. The shifting that Labs is talking about from shot to shot is just a tiny amount of noise that comes from the way animations blend, that’s always been in the game and always will be. That noise is imperceptible to humans but Labs’ script is very precise and can detect it.
There are no “speedups” built into the shooting model to try and make shooting harder. But there are going to be variations in every shot attempt because you’re going to be transitioning from different animations at different times at varying energy levels. The game is not intended to be played by a machine that can hold the shot button for a predetermined amount of time to make every shot, which is why shooting by “feel” will only get you so far.
After doing a bunch of tests on the game, along with feeling like I’ve “mastered” my jumpshot timing, I can confidently say there is 1000% some form of RNG in NBA 2K27
