Sometimes it's how you say what you say, not what you say. I saw some Barbz give Nicki IG engagement advice that sounded respectful and chill. And others gave the same advice, but with a mean or condescending tone and got blocked. Perhaps you need to work on your social skills.

@yneone Yes, I think post-Queen cupcake Barbz were more annoying circa 2019-2020. But now I feel edgy Barbz have become more annoying, haha. I trace a lot of it back to the whole DWAP era, and edgy Barbz trying to chase a viral moment like some of them got around that time.

Edgy Barbz are Cupcake Barbz, just the different end of the spectrum. Cupcake Barbz blindly agree with everything Nicki does. Edgy Barbz blindly say everything Nicki does is wrong. Neither have nuanced opinions that allow for grey areas. Both are annoying.

@yneone Good point. I wouldn't classify you as one based on my stricter definition. I think the edgy Barbz have gotten in the habit of labelling anyone a cupcake Barb who isn't critiquing 24/7, haha. They got a little looser with their definitions circa 2023 to now.
