A Better Chinatown Association is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization on a mission to build an Arch in Honolulu's Chinatown and to promote economic development.
Honolulu Chinatown’s new arch will be built at King and Kekaulike Streets and will honor ten individuals who made significant contributions to Hawaii’s Chinese community. Their profiles will be inscribed at the base of the arch’s two pillars for visitors to read.
We are grateful to all those who joined us for the Honolulu Chinatown Arch groundbreaking ceremony this past weekend. This community-led initiative was conceived to honor the neighborhood’s rich cultural legacy while supporting continued revitalization efforts. #honoluluchinatown

“This project has been four years in the making,” said Eddie Flores, Jr., chair of the A Better Chinatown Association. “The arch will serve as a welcoming symbol and help position Chinatown as a destination for both visitors and local residents.” #HonoluluChinatown#honolulu
