As parents, it's our job to make and enforce rules. But that's only step one.
We also want to be sure that our kids understand the reasoning behind our rules.
And we want to take time to get their perspective on our rules and to be prepared to make adjustments as needed.
The safest teens are the ones who have good working relationships with adults.
