AMC is about to do more things it’s NEVER done beforeI
I went back and looked at every Q3 and Q4 cash flow from 2016–2025. Ten years.
If current forecasts hold:
Q3 2026 would be only the 4th positive cash flow Q3 in 11 years… and a brand new all-time record for Q3!
Q4 2026 will also set a new all-time record both for Q4 and for ALL quarters EVER!
That means AMC is on track for three consecutive all-time best cash-generating quarters in a row (Q2 already reported in at +$190M). Q3 smaller but best ever Q3. Q4 best ever for any quarter.
And they’re doing it on a smaller box office than before.
So what happens when the box office keeps recovering from here? 💰💸🖨️
Tell me again - what does it mean to a short thesis when a company starts printing mountains of cash?
I like the stock.

Shills love to add lease liabilities (future rent) to “debt” and inflate the sound of what a company has actually borrowed.
I explained yesterday how a company like Chipotle actually has ZERO dollars borrowed, yet that approach would have you saying they’re $5b in debt!
Additionally- shills never count the asset side of leases (“right of use”). Did you know AMC has nearly $3b in ASSETS from ROU on leases? Shills never quote that part.
I’ll be doing a series of financial education videos. Yesterday’s- how to account for leases and whether they are debt or not.

The second quarter was a period of excellent progress as we continued to build on our strong foundation.
We closed the period with $220.5 million in cash, and no debt. The updated S-K 1300 Technical Report Summary demonstrates the long-term potential of the Hycroft Mine.
Looking ahead, we will continue to focus on advancing the high-grade systems at Brimstone and Vortex with the addition of two additional core rigs. Additionally, we will continue to advance the technical and economic trade-off studies that will sharpen the development plan.
The most significant value opportunities at Hycroft are still ahead of us as we advance the project towards production.
All hail Chris Nolan. As of weekend two in theatres, The Odyssey is now up to a media-reported $286 million domestic box office gross. And $640 million at the worldwide box office.
AMC’s IMAX screens had their all-time highest ever two weekend gross for a single movie title!
Record earnings
Announced interest savings of $67m yearly
Likely $36-$69m more savings on the way
2nd half of the year shaping up great.
I call that winning 😏

7/20...during the Buck Moon, On Moon day, on the "moon" (57th) Moon day, as The Odyssey opening weekend numbers are celebrated, as Spiderman Brand New Day presales are reported, and as Doomsday presales kick off,
AMC will (for the first time in memory) report earning pre-market for the Q2 just ended which was the biggest box office in 7 years and the fifth biggest ever for the quarter.
That's a lot stacked up all at once. Earnings at 5:30AM my time Monday. I will be ready with coffee.

Absurd momentum in SAT pre-sales for #TheOdyssey. Should surely be $40M+. If not for the World Cup final on Sunday, this was certainly going $130M+ weekend, may be it still will.
The last I recall this happening was during Inside Out 2.
“If you’re bullish on gold and silver, why wouldn’t you own the company with the most torque?”
That’s the case I make for @HycroftMining
A massive resource. A growing high-grade discovery. More drill rigs. More assays. And a steady stream of news expected over the months ahead.

The Domestic Box Office: ticket grosses for all U.S. & Canadian theatres.
Q2 2026: $2.974 billion. That’s the biggest quarter since Q2 2019, and the 5th biggest of the 200 quarters of the past 50 years.
How many times have I heard some idiot say that movie theatres are dead?
I gave Grok the post below, and the transcript of a video I made in Jan 2023, explaining how people lie to you about impairment and how it works. The irony that this guy is just resurfacing the same lie that was told to you in 2023 which I tore apart with the actual accounting treatment means he didn't pay attention. And demonstrates how he doesn't understand accounting principles (in the same way Marantz didn't in 2023.)
Below, I'll paste Grok's take (it's not kind to this guy, but it is informative if you care about facts), and a link to the video from over 3 years ago. Before you look at those, take note of this guy's follow list. At least a dozen accounts I have blocked. Some I can confidently claim are shorts/shills. These people never learn - but they also never quit. So I too will never quit.
Facts over FUD. Actual accounting rules and real business results matter - like the fact we're going to be cash flow positive and have massive EBITDA on the year.
Before you read on - it's important to note - people who attack AMC or GME are just shorts in ape's clothing. Always have been - thus the fact this guy's follow list is toxic as heck.
Here's the Impairment education video (which Grok says is correct btw)
https://t.co/7kcsNpTVyi
Here's Grok's takedown of this guy:
Overall Verdict:
The@AustinTobitt post is a flawed and alarmist piece that misrepresents both the mechanics of goodwill impairment and AMC’s current position. It claims a near-certain massive write-down in October 2026 that will render the balance sheet “insolvent” and balloon the equity deficit by over 230%. This is not supported by the facts.
Goodwill impairment testing begins with a qualitative assessment that heavily weighs forward cash flow outlook and operating trends. Year-to-date, domestic box office is already up more than $600 million versus the prior year. This is not speculation — it is measurable data from the Box Office. On top of that, the second half of 2026 features a strong film slate, including major releases such as Spider-Man, The Odyssey, Minions, Avengers, Moana, and Dune. These are objective tailwinds that directly support higher cash flow projections — the exact factor the post downplays or ignores.
The 2023 StockRetail video, by contrast, correctly explained the core accounting reality: goodwill impairment is a non-cash charge driven by whether expected future cash flows justify the carrying value, not by stock price levels or headline-grabbing percentages of assets. That video’s emphasis on cash flow trends as the decisive factor remains accurate. The post under review fails to engage with this properly and instead treats impairment as an automatic or inevitable outcome tied to current market cap and debt trading levels.
In reality, AMC recorded zero goodwill impairment in 2023, 2024, and 2025 despite far weaker operating conditions than those now in evidence. A post that predicts a catastrophic impairment while ignoring a $600+ million YTD box office increase and a loaded upcoming slate is not making a serious accounting argument — it is manufacturing a crisis that current performance data does not support.

Silver is a commonly used catalyst for producing two major industrial chemicals: ethylene oxide and formaldehyde.
Both chemicals are crucial elements to everyday items such plastics, adhesives, textiles, antifreeze and even clothing.
The US imports 64% of its silver and is looking to onshore a significantly higher amount.
