There’s a story in the Bible I’ve been thinking about lately: David and Absalom.

Absalom’s anger did not begin out of nowhere. His sister Tamar had suffered a terrible wrong, and their family did not address it as it should have. But Absalom let that wound grow into revenge. Later, he stood at the city gate, won people to his side, and tried to take his father’s throne.

I see a lesson in that story for what’s happening in the Volt community. Someone who was once trusted as a community leader has left the original Volt Inu and gathered former members around a separate token using its name. The circumstances are different, but the pattern makes me stop and reflect: a grievance can become a cause, and a cause can lead people further than they ever intended to go.

And here is the part I don’t want us to miss: David loved his son and asked that Absalom be spared, even as he prepared to defend his kingdom. His compassion did not make him passive.

That is where I stand. Voltoshi built Volt Inu. There’s a dev team working behind the scenes and a whole army that has continued to show up. I’m one person doing my part alongside them, with boldness, as God leads me. When false claims are made, I will keep answering with truth and facts. But however cruel others may be to us, we do not have to become cruel in return. We can stand firm without taking vengeance into our own hands.

Scripture reminds us: “For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7. That calls me to examine what I’m sowing, too. Am I speaking from truth and love, or am I letting anger lead me?

There is nothing new under the sun. I believe with all my heart that we will prevail. My faith in God is not a reason to lay down our voice; it is the reason I can keep using it without surrendering my character. We will keep telling the truth, keep standing on principle, and trust God with justice. God will fight for us.

My prayer is that all of us, wherever we stand today, take an honest look at our hearts and our actions through the lens of Christ’s love. We can disagree. We can defend what is right. And we can still leave room for truth, repentance, and grace.

Volt Army, stand firm. Keep your receipts. Keep your heart right. We are still here and we ain’t going nowhere. ⚡️🙏🏽

For someone who has presented himself as an experienced educator in this space for years, these are very basic distinctions to get wrong.

First, the original VOLT is currently trading on DEXs. Its Ethereum VOLT/USDT pool has active liquidity, buys, sells, transactions, and trading volume—all publicly verifiable on-chain. Therefore, saying people “will not be able to trade it on any DEX” is demonstrably false.

Second, the blockchain shows that liquidity was removed; it does not, by itself, prove that the official project “stole” it. Identifying who controlled a wallet and why an action occurred requires evidence beyond the transaction itself. The team’s public explanation was that wallet credentials were compromised. Whether someone believes that explanation or not, presenting your personal conclusion as an established blockchain fact is misleading.

Third, saying the new Robinhood-chain token “never stole liquidity” proves nothing about its safety, legitimacy, affiliation, or authorization. It is also completely irrelevant to—and does not rebut—the malicious-token warning being discussed.

And the timing of an EverRise-related disagreement followed by a reported compromise does not prove causation or deception. A sequence of events is not evidence of who performed the transactions.

The blockchain keeps receipts—but you still have to read them correctly. ⚡️
