MONSTA X's Kihyun successfully completed his first variety show appearance after being discharged from military service.

Recently, a video titled "MonVenteen Cyber Friendship Test | MONSTA X Kihyun & SEVENTEEN Woozi [SELF-ON KODE]" was released on the YouTube channel 'KODE Code'.

Kihyun, who was discharged from military service last month, appeared under the nickname 'Gam' (Persimmon) and participated in an anonymous chat with SEVENTEEN's Woozi, who went by 'Peach', as they tried to guess each other's identities.

Before the chat, Kihyun explained his nickname choice, saying, "I came to meet you because it's time to find my 'gam' (sense). Help me find my lost sense." Woozi jokingly replied, "It's certainly not funny," setting a lighthearted tone from the start.

As they continued their conversation, the two shared their phone home screens and described their daily routines through apps. Kihyun mentioned exercise, YouTube, news, and real estate apps, and revealed his enduring fan love by listing "checking fan cafe before bed" as his last daily routine.

While exploring Woozi's home screen, Kihyun spotted the Korea Music Copyright Association app and a fan communication app, deducing, "You must be a singer? 100% a singer." He added, "How's that? Sweating bullets? Feeling a bit nervous?" showcasing his undiminished variety show skills.

Their witty banter continued despite not knowing each other's identities. Seeing Woozi's banking app, Kihyun remarked, "You have 12 notifications? Must be rich?" Woozi retorted, "If you're going to say that, shouldn't you explain your finance folder first?" Kihyun then burst into laughter after checking his own finance folder with 635 notifications.

Kihyun and Woozi continued exchanging hints about their hobbies, playlists, recent purchases, and favorite items. After seeing Woozi's childhood photo and a one-word spoiler as the final hint, Kihyun successfully guessed Woozi's identity among various possibilities.

At the end of the video, the two embraced upon confirming each other's identities. Kihyun, who has maintained a long friendship with Woozi since their debut in May 2015, exclaimed, "Ah! See! The strong relationship between the two groups, which has lasted for nearly a decade, has long been referred to as 'MonVenteen' (MONSTA X + SEVENTEEN) by fans, garnering enthusiastic responses.
