If anything happens to Daktari Oburu, Judas plus those responsible for spreading harmful and distressing narratives about him must be held accountable.

It is painful to see an elderly man who deserves peace and dignity subjected to constant online attacks. Such posts can cause emotional distress and undermine the hope of someone who is recovering from illness. We pray that God protects Daktari Oburu and his family. It is understandable that his family would want to shield him from the negativity circulating on social media.

We must learn to respect our leaders, especially the elderly, and allow them to recover in peace. Political competition should never come at the expense of another person’s dignity, well-being, or peace of mind.

Canadian Embassy, your citizen needs to be rescued from the streets of Nairobi.

He was allegedly misled by some people who promised him that they could invest in a tree-planting business in Kenya and make a lot of money. Trusting them, he sent them money, only to arrive in Kenya and discover that there were no trees and no business as promised.

If we need order in Nairobi and a leader who can implement policies effectively, then we need a leader, not a politician.

We need someone who is not obsessed with securing a second term but is focused on service delivery. A leader who prioritises the people over re-election and believes that the best reward for good leadership is the people’s recognition of his performance.

I am more serious because Nairobi is a serious city that deserves a serious leader.

Nairobi needs leadership that delivers results, restores order, implements policies, and puts the interests of its people first. It is time to focus on service, accountability, and tangible results rather than politics as usual.
