It was so encouraging spending the day with St David’s Diocese — hearing stories of people encountering Jesus through something as simple as receiving a Bible.

From baptisms to conversations on benches, there was such a sense of the Church coming together to hear from God and share Him with others.

🎂 Happy Birthday Church! 🎂

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday — the day the Holy Spirit fell on the followers of Jesus and the Church was born.

From that moment in Acts 2, the message of Jesus has continued to spread from generation to generation, century to century, nation to nation… and today we get to be part of that story too.

What started with a small group praying together became a global family of believers filled with the Holy Spirit and sent out with hope for the world.

So today we celebrate the Church, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the good news of Jesus that is still changing lives.
