Meet Maddie and Kate her handler! Maddie is a 3 year old golden doodle who has been sharing puppy love in the Dallas area for over 6 months now. She is a regular visitor to Methodist Richardson Medical Center and DFW airport.

ATD and Heart of Texas Therapy Dog Lynx visited Medical City Dallas as part of her usual schedule. This visit included three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas visiting the hospital.

Encompass is a physical rehabilitation facility. The pups are utilizes to encourage patients recovering from surgeries to walk the hallways (with handler and patient holding two, separate leashes); brushing, speech, etc.
This is Buddy investing time with a Hospice Patient at her daughter’s home. Buddy is laying on a pillow on her lap. It is as if Buddy can “read the room.” At the airport he is so animated but in a Hospice situation he moves in slow motion.
Here is Buddy working at DFW Airport! As soon as Jeannie Helm, his handler, gets their Therapy Dog Backpack out, he starts jumping around and howling. When they get to the airport, his tail never stops! Buddy is 5.5 years old and has been doing Therapy Work for four years.
