The backbone of the LBN 576 supernova is located in the constellation Cassiopeia. Scientists believe that the star that gave birth to it broke out about 10,000 years ago. For its characteristic shape, amateur astronomers call this nebula "Brain", "Garlic" or "Burst Balloon".
