A joint survey conducted by Indikator Politik Indonesia, LSI, and SMRC (March 2026) shows that 83.1% of Indonesian citizens reject the US-Israeli military attack on Iran.

“Respect the locals”: Russian tourist violently punished in Bali over harassment

A local resident nearly choked a Russian tourist unconscious after accusations of inappropriate behavior toward women.

The man was held in a chokehold and temporarily lost consciousness.

Trainer Belda Brig Sando, who confronted the tourist, said he was drunk, harassing people, stopping passersby, and even assaulting them.

According to him, the conflict began after the tourist touched his friend.

Sando admitted he may have gone too far and apologized, but stressed that the tourist crossed the line first.

He also called on foreigners to respect local residents.
