The Board attended the @PoliceAssocON’s 94th Annual Meeting; a week full of presentations, workshops & networking. At the President’s Banquet, President Bannon was honoured with the John Walker Memorial Award & Cst. Gabriele received the Uniform On Duty Difference Maker Award.

Great to have 41 of our 46 member association presidents join today’s Advisory Council of Presidents Meeting. Together, we shared vital updates and discussed top priorities impacting our members and the communities we serve. Grateful for such strong engagement and energized by the attendance here in Windsor.
Best of luck to our newest group of Cadets. They’ve completed 4 weeks of training & are starting with their first placements this week, some starting today. They will be exposed to various units amongst the service & learn all about @HamiltonPolice. Good luck, be safe & have fun!
Great work by members organizing the Hate Crime Symposium this week. The symposium brings together experts, police and community members to share hate crime statistics, reporting tools, and initiatives aimed at supporting victims. Well done by all involved!

Board members were at the CIPSRT conference in Calgary this week. The conference was filled with relevant and insightful speakers and panels. We had a great time at the CIPSRT networking event, enjoying Calgary, and running into a former Hamilton Police member.
Board directors attended the Hamilton Police Retirees Association’s Spring Social with over 100 people in attendance including retirees & new recruits, senior officers. A day to reconnect and remember the retirees that we have sadly lost in the past year.
@HamiltonPolice members marched at Queen’s Park for the Ontario Police Memorial Ceremony of Remembrance, honouring Ontario police officers who died in the line of duty.
