On Saturday the Corps of Drums were part of the military parade at National Armed ForcesDay in Cleethorpes The Corps looked extremely smart and did a fantastic job performing alongside the @ColdstreamGds and British Army Band Catterick. @RadioHumberside@CarlaGreene84
For those who haven’t seen our posts over on Facebook, this week has been #VolunteersWeek. We’ve been saying thanks to all of our band members. Without them we wouldn’t exist.
Thank you to those who have contacted us off the back of this post. It has been great to speak with you. If you are still in two minds about joining us, please have a chat with us, you are more than welcome to be our guest at one of our rehearsals.
Are you looking to get back into playing or just fancy a change? You might be the right fit for us. We have seats waiting to be filled in various sections; Corps of Drums, Trombone, Trumpets and Euphonium to name but a few. If you are interested, please message for more details.

@peter_levy Good Morning Peter! Happy New Year! Your colleagues at Look North Leeds did a really nice piece on our colleagues in West Yorkshire Police Band on their 50th birthday. Your own Police Band this year celebrates its 164th birthday. Any chance of following up with a piece on us?
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our followers a very #MerryChristmas and a #HappyNewYear if you are in need for a band to your event or private engagement in 2025, please drop us a message and we'll see if we can be of service.
Here is an extract from 3 members of the Corps of Drums performing at their first concert with the band. The display is accompanied by the band performing Ray Farr's fantastic arrangement of Bach's Toccata. Watch this space for more performances like this in 2025 @CarlaGreene84
