@glennklockwood @rabernat JS2 has push button dynamically scaling virtual clusters that back science gateways, workflow utilities allowing one to launch apps directly from repos, and cloud native storage. It's one of many NSF-funded cloud projects. PRs are perhaps not the best technical documentation.

@KLM @Delta Bag mysteriously arrived without notice from KLM after web tracing broke and no claims acknowledged/processed. Bag was given a full lab analysis after spending >5 weeks alone in AMS.

@KLM needs a lesson by @Delta. Baggage gone for 8 days post-ISC. KLM Crown Lounge couldn’t get baggage staff to answer the phone. Call center is useless, tells me I might see claim $ in “2-3 months.” Be kind, I notified a fellow ISC attendee when I found his bag since you didn’t.

@hpcprogrammer We inherited a 10 year old Bose system in our current house when we moved. Using some RCA to speaker wire plugs was an easy way to to at least put part of the system to use with a current receiver. I did use the head unit for summer movie night with a projector a couple times.

Definitely not my best work but a small bit of woodworking did provide a nice mental health boost. Poplar may not be the best choice but I like the unfinished look and it's cheaper than some of the hardwood alternatives. 2020 seems to have opened up some bottle space. 🤔

Cried hard recounting to my eldest *why* the post-Katrina response sickened me, but got me off the couch to go help rebuild, and *why* it now motivates us to serve in Mexico annually. I wish it hadn’t taken the events of this week to show those feelings to her. Still growing.
