This program emphasizes hands-on learning, real life discovery and integrated life skills. Multi-grade learning enriched by family and community involvement.
Junior students spent the day building a machine that uses a pulley and/or gear system that is supported by a strong and stable structure. Lots of problem solving, testing, retesting and creativity was demonstrated.

This STEAM challenge was a great one! Students were challenged to build a stable bridge and were given a budget to keep track of their spending. Lots and lots of collaboration and problem solving between our multi age partners was observed. Great job everyone!
Celebrating super hero day yesterday! We are courage! Some students didn't want to be a "character" they just had fun and pretended to have super powers! I love that these students have space to express themselves π
