We regret to inform you that, after five years of the readathon running, we will not be hosting HPR2020 this year. It is our belief that even though it’s great to read HP every year, we have become so critical that the series has begun to lose its magic.
Have a wonderful year, everyone. We’ll update you later on in the year on further readathon news when we decide what we’re going to do.
Lots of love,
The HPR Team xxxxx
A break from it will do us all good, and we will return to it in a few years time, knowing that Hogwarts will be there to welcome us home. Please know that even though we won’t be reading, don’t let that stop you from going ahead to do a readathon of your own.
Hiya readathoners! It’s me, Tan. I’m sorry I wasn’t here for the #HPRFeast (blame Muggle life) but what a brilliant job Meg and Jem did sending the #HPReadathon2019 off! Thank you again to everyone who took part, whether you were here a day or the entirety, you guys are the best!
Let's give a hand for our wonderful hosts:
💚 @fandompatronus
❤️ @MarauderMeg
💙 @thatandyclaw
💛 @loviiiisaa
And last but not least the invaluable @slythertan who is the brains behind this readathon and without her we wouldn't have this amazing event ❤️💚💛💙 #HPRFeast
There are way more tweets from across the entire readathon! So many great thoughts and observations from everyone! 👏👏👏 thanks everyone for making it amazing! 🎉🎉🎉 #HPRFeast
Alright time to post some funny tweets from the readathon! (We won’t lie though, we got tired of scrolling after a while, so these are only from the first couple of weeks, but anyway...) ⚡️ #HPRFeast
