Yesterday I was due to sit my first professional level exams; today I was supposed to fly out to Budapest; tomorrow I was due to compete at my first European (Masters) Swimming Championships! How times change... I’ll have to patiently wait for the Euros 2022 instead! 👊

#MHAW2020 Whilst thinking about the kindness of others, I can’t not mention Captain Tom Moore who has inspired and lifted many spirits during lockdown. I’ve loved watching his journey over the past few months, topped off today with news of a knighthood ⭐️ @captaintommoore

It also makes me happy that they’re doing some exercise! Before lockdown, they’d never have found time to go for a walk, let alone 5 miles a day! Long may this healthier lifestyle continue 🙌🏼

Day 3: #MHAW2020 - The kindness of others: I’m proud of my mum and dad (who has been furloughed from his job at the village Post Office) who during lockdown, have been walking 5 miles a day to collect and deliver essentials and prescriptions for elderly people in their village ❤️

I have also found a new love for walking (can’t wait to do more of this soon beyond the immediate locality of my house!) and podcasts! 🚶🏽‍♀️🎧 Of course bubble baths remain a consistent favourite... 🛁❤️ #KindnessToOurselves #MHAW2020

Day 2 #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek: Today we’re thinking about #KindnessToOurselves. Before lockdown, I would often only ‘find time’ to exercise. Over the past two months, I have re-found a love for graphic design and reading, neither of which I have done much of since school ❤️
