According to Media Ownership Monitor, ⅔ of Ghanaians listen to the radio daily since it does not pose literacy challenges (2017). As it is #WorldRadioDay, we want to highlight the importance of the radio, as it can be utilized as a 🛠️ to spread awareness on human rights!

In Ghana, #radio is king. According to @afrobarometer R9 survey results, most Ghanaians (80%) say they get news via #radio “every day” or “a few times a week.” Only 8% say they “never” use the radio as a news source.
