For Talent Acquisition professionals, getting candidates in the door is only half the challenge. https://t.co/uGvzYhgQXb #TalentAcquisition#SummerofLearning
@KatLizAnderson Absolutely, but it’s almost useless if recruiters aren’t trained and *supported* to speak up and push back during the recruitment process. That’s where a big part of the problem lies.
Took 9 years but I’m over caring what people think of what I charge for my services.
I work my ass off and earn my money. If you want to shop around to save 5% be my guest but don’t expect me to match it bc I don’t want to work with you that bad.
Showing recruiters a couple of good job ads and then expecting then to write a good one themselves is like having someone read a couple of great novels and then expecting them to produce a literary work of art.
It's not that easy.
It requires training.

#RecruiterTwitter, be honest - how many of us are conducting phone interviews on autopilot? Are we really asking strategic questions and going back to review our notes during offer neogitiations?

#SourcingTip - Before searching for #candidates on LinkedIn, Facebook, Github, Stackoverflow or anywhere else, start with your very own ATS! You probably have a ton of relevant (and engaged) talent there.

If you aren't careful, your boss will have you convinced that "work ethic" means poor workers putting in extra hours for free to make the bosses even richer.
Agile methodology isn't just for software developers anymore. 'Agile #Recruiting' is a great way to take your #recruitment game to the next level this year -> https://t.co/KHMV9vdLdK
It’s time the tech startup work scene changed especially on the heels of the @away employee leak — the perfect example of how overworking employees is counterproductive.
Tech twitter is dead ass debating on if it’s good idea to work 40+ hours a week rn. Toxic tech CEOs and investors are saying you won’t change the world like Gandhi or MLK unless you kill yourself for another ad tech startup you don’t own.
I’ve had so many interviews with women in the past 2 weeks and the majority have sold themselves short on the salary front. I tell them that and say I’m putting them down for the higher end and that in their other interviews to ask for that other number because they’re worth it.
