@sscjusa Do you know what unit David Warren was in? I assumed the 34th Inf Div. My father participated in that same landing. He was 2nd Lt. Harold Regan, 34th Div., 135th Regiment, 1st Battalion, Company A, 2nd Platoon. I carefully study Operation Torch photos looking for Dad.
@CambridgeMAFire I just noticed this posting. George A Regan was my grandfather, the Regans lived on Pemberton Street, Cambridge. I've never seen a picture of him or knew the details of his Cambridge fire department career or death. I'd like to learn more.
@TheRedBulls 2nd Lt. Harold T. Regan (of Cambridge, MA) was platoon leader of 2nd Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion of the 135th Regiment in that photo- my father

@danielalamasmd@acsifferlin Excellent & compassionate description of a reality that few people understand. BTW, my daughter is a PA who will be joining Brigham's cardiac surgical ICU in Oct (worked the last 4 years at UofRochester Strong Memorial in COVID and cardiac surg ICU).
