Dear HR Managers,
Please stop inviting people in interview when you already have someone in mind. To travel to it costs money, sleepless nights, tons of preparation and emotional expectations.
Just stop!😒
📅 2021: No salary increase
📅 2022: No salary increase
📅 2023: No salary increase
📅 2024: No salary increase
📅 2025: No salary increase
2026 :
👨💼 Employee: “Kindly accept my resignation.”
👔 Boss: “But you’re doing such a great job! Why are you leaving?”
👨💼 Employee: “I’ve received a new job offer with a 70% salary increase, plus guaranteed annual performance-based raises.”
⏳ 48 hours later…
👔 Boss: “We’ll also give you a 95% raise—just don’t leave!”
👨💼 Employee: “Sorry… it’s too late now.”
💡 Lesson for Leaders:
Employees don’t leave only because of money — they leave when they feel undervalued, unrecognized, and overlooked.
Retaining great employees requires more than last-minute counteroffers:
✨ Recognition
📈 Growth opportunities
🤝 Proactive leadership
💬 Genuine appreciation
Take care of your best people before they decide to walk away.
WHAT A WOMAN WANTS IN A MAN (beyond looks):
• Safety in his presence
• Loyalty when she’s not around
• Consistency, not chaos
• Gentle leadership
• Someone who actually listens
• Ambition with humility
• A soft place to land
• A strong place to lean
• A man who chooses her every day
Boss: “You arrived 10 minutes late.”
Employee: “Yesterday I stayed late finishing that last-minute report.”
Boss: “I understand… but rules are rules.”
The next day, the employee arrived exactly on time.
And at 5:00 p.m. sharp, shut down the computer.
No extra emails. No work taken home.
If punctuality is non-negotiable, then effort must have boundaries too.
Recognition cannot be one-sided.
When mistakes are highlighted but dedication is ignored, the real message becomes clear:
“Do only what’s required. Nothing more.”
Empathy costs nothing.
The absence of it? That can cost you everything—especially your best people.
If nobody told you throughout the year,
you did enough.
You survived storms people never saw.
You stayed when quitting felt easier.
That counts. That matters.
Happy & Prosperous New Year
UNIQUE 💫
THE YEAR CLOSES TODAY
Some things were heavy
Some were survived without witnesses
Let what ends today stay ended
Let what begins tomorrow be shaped by courage, not wishing
May peace find you where you stand
follow you where you’re going,
& honor the brave choices y dare to make
