Today wasn’t just the last day of school. It was also the final day for two amazing staff members. After 15 years, Brien (math chair) is becoming the principal at Washington School for the Deaf. Ron retires after 30 years. So grateful for their impact and wishing them the best!

Water Play Day was a splash-tastic success! Students who met their AR reading goals celebrated with a dunk tank, water slide, bounce house, and plenty of laughs - including soaking some staff members! 📚☀️🏆 Hard work and reading success paid off in the best way!

Our high school students delivered their final taiko drumming performance at Jefferson Elementary today, showcasing the vibrant rhythm and energy they’ve developed over the past three months under the guidance of Sensei Chizuko from Taiko Center of the Pacific.

Our hearts are heavy as we remember our beloved Security Guard, Uncle Curtis. This week, students honored him by visiting his chair, talking story, and reflecting on the aloha he shared. We are grateful for the touching video from our SBG President.

We are heartbroken by the passing of our school security guard, Curtis Cidade. He wasn’t just security -he was an uncle and a friend. His kindness and aloha spirit will always be remembered. Sending love to his family and our school community. 💚

Mr. Breland taught students how bolting affects leafy greens and why washing produce helps prevent rat lungworm. Students wrapped up by planting ti and ferns - hands-on learning at its best!

A huge congratulations to Khemar Kellum and Caleb Kepo'o for making it into the Top 8 out of 52 competitors in the RIT/NTID Math Competition! Both 8th graders worked incredibly hard, and their determination and love of math truly paid off. #ntidyouthprograms

We’re proud of our High School Academic Bowl Team and Middle School Math Team for bringing home the Sportsmanship Awards! They represented our school and the aloha spirit with class, respect, and heart. Way to go, Team Dolphins!

Last Friday, our school went all in on the Genki Ball project! Everyone knew exactly what to do and had a blast working together. Thanks to the Genki Ala Wai Project, we’re proud to help clean up the Ala Wai Canal and make it safe for fishing and swimming.
