Today wasn’t just the last day of school. It was also the final day for two amazing staff members. After 15 years, Brien (math chair) is becoming the principal at Washington School for the Deaf. Ron retires after 30 years. So grateful for their impact and wishing them the best!

Our hearts are heavy as we remember our beloved Security Guard, Uncle Curtis. This week, students honored him by visiting his chair, talking story, and reflecting on the aloha he shared. We are grateful for the touching video from our SBG President.

Last Friday, our school went all in on the Genki Ball project! Everyone knew exactly what to do and had a blast working together. Thanks to the Genki Ala Wai Project, we’re proud to help clean up the Ala Wai Canal and make it safe for fishing and swimming.
