Its been a WHOLE YEAR that Neutron-1 has been in space! Sending a huge MAHALO to everyone out there who helped us get beacons from #Neutron1. We received some beacons last week at our KauCC groundstation, so we again ask the community to try to command N1 if you can!

@ure_n8 @dk3wn To clarify, the team has confirmed that @dk3wn was successful at sending the change beacon rate command to #Neutron1. Each of the beacons he received was exactly 3 seconds apart.

@ure_n8 @dk3wn Yes, we think that it is awake and will send a beacon about 6 times per day. We haven't quite worked out when it is awake, but it should send at least 1 or 2 beacons even if no command is sent IF #Neutron1 is awake while it is overhead.

Aloha! Sorry for the lack of updates here, its been a little busy in the lab. #Neutron1 has been beaconing infrequently. If you have the ability to transmit FM Standard FSK on VHF, this wav file increases the beacon rate and would really help us! https://t.co/YdtuoUaNUh
