Moon ends up having to retire in the second set of his second round match: 5-7, 3-3. Played his absolute heart out for five hours of extremely high level tennis in the sun. Couldn’t be more proud of his effort today and how he represented our program and school during his run.

After a one hour break, Will Moon back in action in his 2nd round matchup against the Eastern Regional champ Augie Ballantine from New Hanover.

Will Moon wins a 3+ hour marathon match! He defeats Lucas Kolmel from A.C. Reynolds 6-3, 5-7, 6-3! He moves on to the second round later this afternoon! Absolutely amazing match!

Will Moon was up 2-1 in his 3rd place match when his opponent retired, so Will places 3rd in the Region! He will be playing in the State Tournament on Friday morning at Millbrook Exchange Park!

Will Moon plays really well but drops his semifinal against the top seed from Pinecrest 4-6, 2-6 and will play in the 3rd place match against a to be determined SWAC rival this afternoon.

Will Moon beats Green Hope 6-3, 6-3 to qualify for the State Tournament! Congrats to Will, who becomes the first men’s tennis player to qualify for States twice! He comes back tomorrow for the last two rounds of Regionals.

Will Moon has clinched his 3rd straight Regionals berth! He won his first two matches at the SWAC Tournament to advance to tomorrow’s semifinals, dropping only 1 game on the day!

Congrats to Will Moon for finishing 3rd in the SWAC after defeating Green Hope today! He moves on to Regionals next week. The Hawaiian shirts also won best team theme for the second year in a row (no other teams competed).

Stephen Gilbert & Grant Sasser played in the match of the tournament, dropping a three-set heartbreaker 2-6, 7-5, 4-6 to Green Level. They fought today as they have all season.

All three seniors battled hard today, but first round losses in the SWAC tournament for Noah Thiemke in singles as well as the team of Jack Lundy & Vincent Carfano in doubles.

Hawks fall to Middle Creek 6-3. Singles & Doubles wins today from Will Moon, and stepping up to #3 Singles a really nice win from Noah Thiemke today as well. Get another shot at MC next week.

A short-handed Hawks team battled incredibly hard this afternoon, getting a huge win at 3 doubles from Caleb Butcher/Mark Rider and with a Caleb Butcher & Dylan Gretok picking up singles wins as well. Back at it tomorrow at Middle Creek.
