The administration’s scam is to point to something already illegal, pretend it’s rampant, and demand sweeping powers to “fix” it. The Cato Institute says noncitizens are not voting in detectable numbers. The Brennan Center found suspected cases at 0.0001%. This has nothing to do with evidence and is all about building machinery for voter suppression.

Julia Roberts: Renee Nicole Goode is not a symbol. She is an American woman, a queer woman who was doing the very best she could do to be good in an unjust world.
And I am honored to celebrate her life and her legacy tonight, because the life she gave is our responsibility to carry.
Ms. Rachel: I've had the honor of meeting with 10 absolutely precious children their wonderful families who have been locked in Dilley Immigration Detention Center in Texas. A prison that is neglecting, abusing, and traumatizing kids. There is no safe amount of time for a child to be in detention. Dilley immigration detention center must be shut down. We need to end the cruel policies of family detention and family separation.
What happens when a child is forced into motherhood? Three girls took that question to the world's highest human rights bodies—and WON.

“We are deeply disturbed to learn so many senior members of the Trump administration gathered in the Situation Room to discuss the release of the Epstein Files as a reputational problem… we are separately concerned Todd Blanche was at that table.”
2026 is the first year in 18 years in which there are zero female active duty four-star generals.
Pete Hegseth has been intervening in military promotions & fighting the military’s leaders in firing & denying promotions to women.
The military promotions board – including its Trump-appointed director – selected 31 officers for promotion as “the best qualified officers within their respective competitive category.”
Those 31 included seven women.
Nine total promotions were cancelled by Hegseth: all seven women & two black men. Not one white man was removed.
Mitch McConnell is in the hospital.
But, he won't have to worry about medical bills or skipping tests because he has high-quality, government-subsidized healthcare — the same thing he has spent his career cutting for tens of millions of Americans.
Hegseth blocked or delayed promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers. Removed books about Black service members from military libraries. Disbanded Black affinity groups. Restored Confederate monuments.
Colonel Curry - 27 years of active duty, director of the Air Force Review Boards Agency - retired.
His last act before leaving: telling the young Black officers in the room to stay. To carry it on. Because he had his pension and they didn't yet.
RFK Jr has cut Alzheimers research.
Alzheimers.
One of the most devastating, urgent and increasing health problems we face today.
He's not interested.
He's a nasty piece of work.
Here’s the connection to be made: The administration bit off more than it could chew when it indicted SPLC, a group with national support. So now it will try to intimidate folks on the ground, small local groups who are supporting our right to vote. We must not let that happen.
Under oath, during an Armed Services hearing, Secretary Hegseth was not able to bring himself to say the words: it is illegal to deploy the military to our polls. That’s not a hard question. It has been illegal for over 150 years, and this administration won't rule it out. Time and again, Secretary Hegseth has dodged, deflected, and tried to change the subject. This is in line with the President saying over and over again that if his side loses, the election is rigged, including this week.
I led this effort to protect our elections from military interference, and importantly, to protect service members from the kind of illegal orders I warned about last year.
It’s concerning that no Republicans on the committee voted to include them. https://t.co/wYHZH7wbSQ
BREAKING: Democrats just officially requested the following Trump officials testify before Congress over the Epstein cover-up: JD Vance, Karoline Leavitt, Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, Steven Cheung, and Susie Wiles. Let’s go.
