Odd decisions from AQA this year for Spanish exams. No past tense in the FT Span-Eng translation and no 'qué hiciste' for the past-tense Foundation writing bullet points. These previously predictable elements made the exams more accessible, particularly for LPAs. #mfltwitterati
@cobmfl Ooh yes it did - a very tricky past tense though and not that obvious (no regular preterite endings/time markers etc.) I was much more alarmed by the lack of past tense in Foundation however!
50K+ a year and 30% minimum PPA. That's what's needed to start to sort teaching out. Full backing for teachers and schools on behaviour would be next. Stop spending money on think tanks, surveys, reports, OFSTED, bursaries, schemes and speeches. Just do this.

"The Finnish Education System is the best in the world." - Everyone
"I can explain exactly why that is." - No one.
Well, what if I could tell you exactly why? It'd be worth at least 2 minutes of your time.
A quick thread 🧵👇
#mfltwitterati How many hours of MFL are taught at your school per fortnight at KS4? We have 4 and I'm curious to see what the situation is at other schools.
