@Dr_A_Edwards You and I both know that those that refuse the vax weren't wearing masks anyway. So in practice this doesn't sig increase anyones risk of getting COVID. That's my take at least.
@Dr_A_Edwards Also at this point enough have had covid or been vaxed that there won't be a surge that overloads the system. It's not herd immunity but it's manageable, and vaccine equity is there for people to be able to make the right decision if they choose to.
@misterchambo@Breaking911 Vaccinating more people prevents the continued spread and mutation of the virus, regardless of their likelihood to become sick or die. Wouldn't you agree?
Our next shipment of the #covidvaccine has arrived!!
KCDPC patients: give us a call/email. We should be able to serve all of our current patients over the next few weeks. You just need to let us know you’re interested!
Have you received health care in Kansas (such as chronic condition management, mental health care or other care) by telephone or video chat since the pandemic began? I'm curious to hear what you thought of the experience. My DMs are open, if you feel like sharing. Thanks! #ksleg
@Dr_A_Edwards That was my first reaction, not another app! I downloaded tik tok soley to watch @DGlaucomflecken vids and don't know why because he posts them to Twitter anyways.
“We don’t know *for certain* how long you’ll be immune.”
&
“It is very likely that, for the vast majority of people, functional immunity is many years or decades.”
...are both true but sound radically different to a worried person/population.
I prefer the optimistic one.
