मालवीय नगर अग्निकांड में 21 निर्दोष लोगों की जान चली गई। लेकिन सबसे बड़ा सवाल है कि कार्रवाई आखिर किस पर हो रही है?

शेफ केशव नेगी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। एक ऐसा व्यक्ति जो पहाड़ से पलायन कर अपने परिवार और बच्चों का पेट पालने के लिए दिल्ली आया था और जिसका काम रसोई में खाना बनाना था। क्या उसका काम यह देखना था कि बिल्डिंग वैध है या अवैध? फायर NOC है या नहीं? एक ही एंट्री-एग्जिट क्यों है? रिहायशी इलाके में कमर्शियल गतिविधि कैसे चल रही है? अवैध निर्माण और अतिक्रमण कैसे हुआ?

अगर इतने बड़े स्तर पर नियमों की अनदेखी हुई, तो जिम्मेदारी उन लोगों की भी तय होनी चाहिए जिनके ऊपर कानून लागू कराने, निरीक्षण करने और अनुमति देने की जिम्मेदारी थी।

21 निर्दोष मौतों के मामले में केवल सबसे कमजोर कड़ी को पकड़ लेना आसान है, लेकिन क्या असली सवालों और बड़े जिम्मेदार लोगों तक भी जांच पहुंचेगी? देश जानना चाहता है।

This man-made tragedy struck in Karawal Nagar (Delhi), bordering Ghaziabad.

The JCB was not meant to bring down the building. It was digging a drain.

Cracks appeared in the building. It was vacated and fell soon after.

Note: Mainstream media underplayed the reason for this collapse, for obvious reasons.
