ss with state filters is far more powerful than netstat for diagnosing connection issues on production servers.

$ ss -tnp state established '( dport = :443 or sport = :443 )'

Shows only active HTTPS connections with the process name attached. Useful when tracking connection leaks or unexpected traffic spikes.
