🧵🚨Welfare expansion (including for illegals), more handouts, and INFLATIONARY deficits!🤯
Tax Bill is “Light on Tax Relief and Heavy on Welfare Expansion”
“The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is first and foremost a repudiation of the principles of successful, pro-family welfare reform.”
· “The bill would generate $155 billion in new federal deficits through fiscal year 2025, adding upward pressure on inflation and interest.”
· “Subsidizing Illegal Aliens. Under current law, illegal aliens who have children that were born in the U.S. (and many do) can claim welfare benefits from the ACTC. The Ways and Means bill expands these welfare payments for millions of people who are in the U.S. illegally, and for millions more entering in the future—exacerbating a current design flaw in the program.”
· “In the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act (TRAFWA), 91.5 percent of the “family benefits” are cash welfare, not tax relief for working families.”
· “Because of the retroactive and temporary nature of most of the expensing provisions, the proposed TRAFWA would lead to little or no economic growth.”
I love Ordinals, I have Ordinals. BUT
I've seen 100s of degens posting about OP_Cat.
I've seen 0 explaining OP_Cat in a straightforward way that isnt CT CirclJerkng for their bags.
@ocean_mining doing the unpopular thing makes me think they're on the right track.
Recognizing the serious implications and valuations involved, I believe rushing these updates in BRC20 is reckless, disregards their peer indexers, and could potentially harm the broader community of BRC20 users. The 0.8/0.9 incident highlighted the complexities of integrating new updates into the BRC20 standard, and while I am keen to implement protocol enhancements, it is clear these changes may not be safe to integrate without the robust testing, coordination, and validation infrastructure that is currently being built.
Additionally, the timing and pending incentive structure indicate this isn't just a one-time unilateral technically driven action on the part of Unisat but part of a considered, ongoing strategy to gain control of the protocol.
@L1Fxyz, a non-profit foundation dedicated to ensuring that the BRC20 standard remains free from centralized corporate control, is currently maintaining an indexer with the express intent of ensuring the safety of all funds held within BRC20 assets. Together, we implore the collective BRC20 community to reject the fork proposed by Unisat and stand with a non-profit, safety-first approach to the maintenance of this protocol.
LFG is a new token launched on a Solana, with a goal of onboarding more ETH users to SOL.
Gotten several pings asking about the safety of it, so here's a quick rundown 1/🧵
@donalt@ByzGeneral Ironic 😂 Its tribalism all the way down.
It's so annoying to discuss with Euros on the internet
For some reason, most Euros think in terms of "This guy is an American - therefore I think they're annoying or fat or"
@cloudeecleer@ColeThereum@Pentosh1 Every dog has its day.
How were all of these projects funded? I sure hope attempts weren't made by him to conceal the origin of said funds :/
It may be time to 'pierce the corporate veil' and have @ftc , @sec investigate further for consumer protections.

1\ NFT’s have been awesome as of recent. Throw money at any project and get 2-10x returns in minutes. It is DeFi summer all over again.
However with all money it brings opportunists who deceive people at whatever cost to get what they want.
Let’s examine ColeThereum.
PSA: This "leaked" version of the Alameda All-Hands audio is not legitimate. It has been doctored to remove the crucial part [around 13:59] where Caroline says Sam, Nishad and Gary were aware. 🚨
I was in the courtroom when the prosecution played Government Exhibit 433E to the jury, which contains audio that has been removed: (I'm including the GX audio clip in a follow-on tweet)
Actual transcript:
Drappi: I mean, like, more like explicitly aware. As in told, like, this is what we're doing in terms of, like, meetings that were had. I'm sure, like, this wasn't just like a YOLO thing, right? Like, you know --
Ellison: Yeah, I mean, I guess I talked about it with, like, Sam, Nishad, and Gary, I think.
*****
If you listen to the full version that's been circulating on Twitter and Youtube, the "Sam, Nishad, and Gary" part is suspiciously cut out and frankenbitten with Caroline talking about something else:
[at 13:49] Drappi: I mean, like, more like explicitly aware. As in told, like, this is what we're doing in terms of, like, meetings that were had. I'm sure, like, this wasn't just like a YOLO thing, right? Like, you know --
Ellison: Yeah, I mean, I guess I talked about it with, like, ...I don't know what the plan is.
...and then Ellison goes on to talk about CZ.
